Yarnfield Park Helping in the Community

The team at Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre has been busy over the last few months volunteering and raising money for charitable causes.

Back in December, members of staff and their families visited the Samaritan’s Purse West Midlands warehouse to check and send shoeboxes on their way to children around the world. This was an incredibly humbling experience and it was wonderful to spread a little joy.

Over the festive period, the team raised money for The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice, a fantastic local charity that supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Fundraising efforts included decorating crackers, running raffles and walks in the local community.

The Douglas Macmillan Hospice was recently onsite at the Training & Conference Centre in order to train their volunteers to help in the hospice. The hospice is a centre of excellence for palliative and end of life care in Staffordshire and supports patients and their families and carers.

Yarnfield Park is a proud supporter of the local community and these fantastic charities!
