Yarnfield Park has reached another milestone in its journey to become a centre of excellence for learning and development based events. We can now offer one of the fastest dedicated internet solutions available at any conference or training venue in the UK with a dedicated 300Mbps superfast connection across all its meeting, accommodation and public spaces. This free service allows delegates to easily access online learning resources, stream videos, live link and share information easily and effectively whilst organisers can be confident that with such a large dedicated capacity service is guaranteed when large groups of people are undertaking device based work. The system allows for up to 800 simultaneous device connections and lends itself perfectly to the increasingly popular hybrid events.
Ian Parkinson, site director, said: “this investment forms part of our vision to establish Yarnfield Park as a centre for development and education based events particularly those that need to access or download large files & have multiple device needs. We under took a huge amount of research before committing to the project and are confident that our solution offers one of the UK’s largest dedicated internet services. We know that organisers are crying out for better Wi-Fi and internet at venues and we believe that we now meet these requirements.”
A new face
Following the major growth of our business at Yarnfield Park over the last couple of years, our team has been strengthened by the appointment of Sharon Jezeph into the newly created role of Commercial Sales Manager. We are delighted to welcome Sharon who has over 10 years experience within the hospitality industry and who has joined us from The Belfry. Sharon’s remit will be to grow key accounts, raise the profile of the venue and take a leading role in developing the sales plan. Sharon says of her new role:
“the vision and investment the senior team have already put into place means Yarnfield Park will not only be an exciting place for delegates to visit but also to work in. I am very pleased to have joined the team here and I’m looking forward to the future. ”
Yarnfield Park is delighted to announce that not only do we have 338 bedrooms on site but now 70 of these have been furnished with twin beds meaning we can now sleep over 400 people on site, making us one of the largest purpose built residential training and conference centres in the UK.
Donna Louise Trust
This charity raises money for a local children’s hospice, and Yarnfield Park are delighted to be supporting this worthy cause. We are hosting an evening in September where artwork from the children will be displayed and we hope to attract local business and residents to come along and view. Let us know if you would like to come along. The week of 29th April saw “Superhero Week.” Cakes were baked on site and sold along with daily competitions in the restaurant. The week finished on a high with the staff dressing up as their “superheroes” all to help raise money for this great cause.
