Fam Weekend is a Roaring Success

On the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of August, we held our 2nd annual Fam Trip for our conference booking agents and their families. The weekend is used to showcase the venue, and gives us the opportunity to update the agents on any new initiatives or news that they can share with potential clients. In the conference and event industry this kind of event is normally held just for the agents themselves, however at Yarnfield Park, we like to go all out and invite their families too.

The weekend consisted of a whole host of exciting activities, including a day at Alton Towers on the Saturday, followed by an evening at Yarnfield Parks’ large conference venue here in the Midlands with a BBQ and a range of children’s activities. The families then stayed the night, as it is a residential conference centre, and woke up to a great choice of breakfast! One of our function rooms had been set up as a dining room, fully decorated with a Frozen theme throughout, which went down well with both the children and adults!

Saturday evening was spent enjoying a more unusual range of entertainment than the previous year. Our sales team at Yarnfield Park, consisting of Richard, Sam and Wayne, invited Animal Magic Parties to bring along a range of animals for the children to see and hold, as well as a bouncy castle and magician “Phat Magic”, who made balloon animals and performed several tricks for the little ones.

Overall, the weekend was an enormous success, with lots of positive feedback from our agents. Here is a letter of thanks from one of our agents and his family:

“It was really nice to see you all again and have a refresher on the property and to see the changes and future plans you have in store. So lovely to see everyone’s genuine enthusiasm for the property and relaxed but attentive approach to doing business, and this instils great confidence when we are promoting your property to our clients as we know they will be well looked after.”

The team at Yarnfield Park is looking forward to seeing everyone again next time!
