We’re delighted our venue has achieved the ‘silver’ level in the Green Tourism ‘Green Meetings’ Standard – the world’s largest sustainable certification programme. This accreditation covers waste management, recycling, energy, water conservation and much more. We’ve not stopped there! We’re working hard on our green journey to achieve the ‘gold’ standard, supported by our ‘Future First Charter’.

National Training Centre Facilities
Our diverse training facilities allow us to create an environment conducive to learning with all the tools in place. Along with space, flexibility and natural daylight we have plenty of break out rooms for group work or quiet study, a free-flowing refreshment station and outdoor space for those learning activities outside the NTC.

Fully equipped meeting rooms
At our National Training Centre in Staffordshire, our meeting and conference rooms come fully equipped with the latest technology. This means that minimal setup is required and the meeting rooms are ready to use from the get-go. Our training rooms include:
- Projector
- White Boards
- Flip Charts (available on request)
- Pens and pads
- Superfast Wi-Fi
Our superfast Wi-Fi has a 1Gbps connection, allowing up to 800 devices to be connected simultaneously with no speed issues. This is vital for any corporate training event.
National Training Centre in the Midlands
At our National Training Centre in the Midlands, we have 41 training rooms to choose from, with a wide range of room capacities and layouts. Our largest space, Victory Suite, can hold up to 500 delegates in theatre style, whilst our smaller rooms are suitable much smaller groups (8+). Other benefits include:
- Refreshment station – free-flowing tea and coffee all-day
- We also have a Costa Coffee on-site for you to enjoy
- Bedrooms equipped with desks for study
- Secure storage for training materials/exam papers
- Lunch options in our restaurant
Syndicate/break-out rooms
Our syndicate rooms are perfect for small groups, quiet study – which is why we see a lot of academic association groups and professional association groups use our venue for revision weekends. We also have a number of breakout spaces throughout our venue, which are stocked with fresh snacks, tea and coffee making facilities and comfortable seating so you can relax in between training seminars. You can also opt to relax in our bar area, where you can grab a light bite and play some pool.
National Training Centre for Critical Workers
Our National Training Centre is suitable for a wide range of training sessions and seminars. We have an abundance of space available which is great for first aid and ambulance training and our syndicate rooms are perfect for smaller groups. Our training venue is frequently used for critical workers including but not limited to:
- First Aid and Emergency Medical Services
- NHS Staff training
- Firefighter training
- Police training
- Teacher training
- Social Care training
