In October 2014, Yarnfield Park played host to the Lighthouse Healthcare Meantal Health Conference. Lighthouse offers a range of specialist men and women's residential health care services to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health problems and personality disorders. Lighthouse Healthcare are specialist autism care providers and can also offer low secure hospital mental health care..


Last month Yarnfield Park hosted a conference for one of the country's premier chilled foods suppliers, Kerryfresh Ltd. Employees from Kerryfresh descended upon our conference centre, based in Staffordshire, for a day of training. According to Kerryfresh the event was an overwhelming success and all of the delegates left feeling highly motivated and enthused.

At the end of May 2014 Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre was delighted to hold this very special event for Streetgames.
Streetgames are the sports charity that brings sport to the doorstep of young people in disadvantaged communities across the UK.

In November 2013 Yarnfield Park opened its doors to the Methodist Homes Association (MHA) for the first time. The MHA is a charity providing care, accommodation and support services for 16,000 older people throughout Britain.
The Biennial Chaplains Conference which ran for 3 days saw 200 delegates visit Yarnfield Park. Of these 100 stayed on site for 2 days, whilst the rest were day visitors. Their plenary sessions for 200 cabaret style were hosted in the Knighton Suite, whilst 7 other rooms were used for breakout sessions.


ADASS LOGO new spacingAssociation of Directors of Adult Social Services

In April 2014 Yarnfield Park played host to the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) for the first time. ADASS are a charity and the association represents the interests of its members. The membership is drawn from serving directors of adult social care employed by local authorities. Associate members are past directors and a growing wider membership of deputy and assistant directors is becoming established.


Yarnfield Park Training & Conference centre plays host to a wide range of events for well known not-for-profit and charitable organisations.

One particular client, the Samaritans, holds its 2 main council events at the venue, along with a range of training events that run throughout the year. The council events welcome around 280 delegates, including members of their board, for the three day residential conferences.
